In a dimension far from our own, lies a world of entities on the realm of Kwanoe. By day, they lead lives indistinguishable from any other, but when twilight descends, their true purpose awakens. Under the cover of night, they journey to the perilous world of Spaele, not to live, but to hunt. Their mission is to eradicate the hostile entities that dwell there and to chart the uncharted corners of this dangerous realm. Each being is born genderless, yet possesses the freedom to forge their own identity. In this dimension, only three distinct types of entities exist. They are not sustained by food or water, requiring only the restorative power of sleep to continue their eternal vigil.
In Kwanoe, Stable entities were the original inhabitants. These beings are vulnerable only to natural causes, and though most are regular citizens, their existence began long before the arrival of the Hostile and Scrapped entities.
Kwanoe's population consists mainly of Stable entities, but a smaller group is known as the "Scrapped." While Scrapped entities live among the Stable entities, they are often feared and mistrusted due to their special, innate abilities. The first of these beings were members of The First Ones, whose first "Scrapped" member was considered a beneficial mistake made in Kwanoe.
The ferocious and dangerous Hostile entities are native to Spaele. Though powerful, their numbers are fewer than the Stable entities. They can be born in Spaele or created when a Stable entity dies there. Each Hostile entity has a unique ability, which is always paired with a corresponding weakness.
C0L1N, leader of the exploration team "The Lunar Squad," is a profound paradox operating from the penthouse of the "Powerhouse Tower," a skyscraper purchased exclusively for his business. His unconventional leadership style is defined by frequent daytime naps and a propensity for mistakes. Nevertheless, he has an uncanny ability to shield his team from the very flaws that characterize him. Driven by a deep-seated pistanthrophobia, he reluctantly assembled his crew only because the all-consuming mission necessitated trusting others. Now, this flawed and anxious visionary has a single-minded goal: to unravel the secrets of "The First Ones" and fully explore the mysterious world of Spaele.
MUT3D was the first member to join The Lunar Squad, a team formed after C0L1N's solo explorations deep within the Spaele caverns. It was there that C0L1N and MUT3D met by chance. MUT3D, with a deep understanding of the treacherous environment, guided C0L1N through the winding, subterranean passages, which quickly led to a strong mutual respect. Recognizing MUT3D’s unique skills and resilience, C0L1N extended a professional invitation to join the team, which MUT3D accepted with enthusiasm. MUT3D found a sense of belonging in this partnership built on trust, free from the fear of emotional vulnerability that had been a challenge in past relationships.
C0L1N's anxiety about taking on a partner was quickly overcome the moment they met P01S3, the third member of the Lunar Squad. Deep within Spaele, C0L1N found the explorer working alone, her meticulous and professional approach a clear standout. P01S3 had no shortage of offers and was already part of countless exploration teams across Kwanoe, but the relentless pace had left her overwhelmed and drained. However, when C0L1N shared their vision, something clicked. P01S3 recognized a goal worthy of her skills—one she was equally invested in—and made the difficult but necessary choice to join, leaving her past commitments behind for a chance at a more meaningful venture. P01S3 is a well-known explorer, often recognized for her coordination and her studies of other entities within Spaele. Though sometimes known to be a little petty, she is often defensive around new people.
A gentle soul that loves stargazing and is a lover to the cosmos, he works as a nomadic healer that listens to his patient’s stories. 1GN1S is a playful and goofy entity that loves to play more than work, but his loyalty to his friends often outshines his faults. He was afraid to join COL1N’s group due to a fear of the unknown, but once 1GN1S pondered it while one of the members was healing… he decided to join them after all.
